  3. “Shadows of the Mind”, by Pam Randall ─ & ─ “Vulnerable Sins”, by Sandy Dunn
I grew up in a very large Family, fourteen including my parents and twelve children. I was the youngest of the siblings and endured three decades of child growth and development. In both “Shadows of the Mind” and “Vulnerable Sins”, by Sandy Dunn I depict my family as characters in the books telling mini stories of life endeavors as we grow vastly part as a Family, “The Tuckers”.
Of course, with any family there is disappointment, turmoil, and within some even resentment. Within each passing year of my childhood, the thickness of the turmoil continued to increase. I was nine years old when I began to jot down many of the episodes. Writing seemed to release my stress and tension! Soon I found many stories deep within my soul: “Shadows of the Mind,” and “Vulnerable Sins” and I acquired a tender joy for writing. Often finding it difficult to communicate my life's adventures in writing, I sought guidance, strength and wisdom from God.
With any size family there is disappointment, turmoil, and resentment. However the intenseness became so much more indebted within me. As the turmoil increased with each year I began to jot down many thoughts. At first I wrote to release stress and when I saw that it worked!
My friends laugh when I tell them that I was inspired by “The Waltons” to write both “Shadows of the Mind, by Pam Randall and “Vulnerable Sins”, by Sandy Dunn. I still today can relate to each character on the screen of “The Waltons”, produced by Lorimar Productions and inspired from the Novel “Spencer's Mountain”, by Earl Hamner, Jr.

I write to develop my expertise in storytelling. I seek the enchantment and pleasure of my readers. I forget not nor forsake the blessings that the Lord has bestowed upon me.
