“Shadows of the Mind”…Is a spectacular novel in which a young girl, Kim Tucker. Kim discusses her teenage rape and teen-pregnancy. She reveals her life as the youngest sibling of twelve. The novel is focused around the family members and deals with psychological problems. She often felt her life as an advantage having the heads-up on many of life issues… experiencing them often through her siblings’ successes and failures.
